Goat Hill is thrilled to continue its partnership with School One in co-sponsoring Write Rhode Island!, a state-wide short fiction competition for students in grades 7 through 12, now in its fourth year. Last spring, we celebrated twenty young short story writers from across the state with cash prizes and publication in our Write Rhode Island! anthology. We look forward to choosing the best fiction from the state’s young writers again in the spring.

School One and Goat Hill are pleased to announce the 2018 Write Rhode Island Competition for students in grades 7-12. Eligible entries should be a short work of fiction incorporating Rhode Island as a theme.
Goat Hill offers the talents and insights of writers in regularly scheduled workshops--and also invites writing professionals from outside of Southern New England
